Bakubung Bush Lodge offers accommodation in 76 Standard Studio Rooms (1 wheelchair accessible room) which are equipped with an en-suite bathroom and shower and open up onto a balcony or patio. The air-conditioned room comes with two single beds or a king size bed. Views of the hippo pools come as a bonus.

Facilities

Bakubung Bush Lodge provides large swimming pool and a variety of sports facilities provide guests with the opportunity to play cricket, tennis and volley ball. A touch screen TV in the game office marks recent animal sightings. The boma is a social place where many stories of the bush are shared over a roaring fire. The restaurant offers three meals a day and an ever changing menu creates diversity on your palate.

Wheelchair Friendly

Bakubung Bush Lodge welcomes guests with disabilities. Accommodation is provided in a specially designed twin room, with a spacious bathroom equipped for those guests using a wheelchair. Wheelchair ramps are also provided at the main lodge and restaurant area. During game drives, a guide is available to assist guests with embarking and disembarking from the game drive vehicle, and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable safari experience.

Conferences and Functions

Bakubung offers conference and banqueting facilities for 14 to 120 delegates. Slide projectors, portable screens, flip charts and internet access are provided.

Child policy*

Children can only be accommodated in a Standard Room. Children aged 12 years and younger (maximum two children per room) will be accommodated free of charge on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis including one game drive, if sharing with one or two adults. Children aged 13-17 years will be accommodated free of charge on a room only basis and will be charged for meals and game drives. Children occupying their own rooms will be charged the full adult rate.
